Dr. Ron’s love for sports medicine began as a small child, swimming and playing water polo competitively for Portage Park in the Chicago Park District in grammar school and high school.  Throughout his childhood, he has won numerous state and city championships, set pool and meet records, as well as having held 20 of 22 St. Patrick High School swimming records.  He has had multiple All-State nominations, and has since been inducted into the St. Patrick’s HS Hall of Fame in Chicago, in 2003 and 2005.

Dr. Ron’s outgoing personality along with collaborative management with the patient, is what seems to attract his patients.  All of his patients comment on how his combination of listening skills, diagnosis, and treatment plans are the most thorough and active they have ever experienced.  Dr. Ron takes pride in using common terminology focused for the patient during each exam, because he recognizes that the patient must take ownership in their health, even if he is only providing them with the tools to work with.  In addition, he personally completes follow-up phone calls to patients on a regular basis and appreciates new patient referrals.
